Egg Chilli | Spicy Egg Chilli | एग चिली | Indo-Chinese Recipe | Food Tak

This spicy Chilli Egg is the perfect dish for you to binge on during the weekend. What’s more, it’s so easy to cook up that you can make it whenever you please.


5 boiled eggs
1 cup flour
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
200 ml oil
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp green chillies
1 cup spring onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup capsicum
1 cup red bell pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soy sauce
1 TSP red chilli sauce
1 cup cornflour slurry
1/2 cup spring onion greens


Cut the boiled eggs into four quarters.
Mix flour, cornflour, black pepper, salt and water in a bowl and mix well.
Heat oil in a wok, dip the eggs in the batter, and deep fry them.
Once the eggs are golden fried, set them aside.
Heat oil in a pan, and add green chillies, spring onions, ginger garlic paste, capsicum, red bell pepper, black pepper, salt, and mix well.
Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, mix well and add the fried eggs.
Now add the cornflour slurry until the dish comes together to make a sticky sauce.
Sprinkle spring onion greens on top, mix well and serve.
